Old-fashioned rolled oats are allowed to soak in milk until they soften to a consistency that is incredibly pleasant to eat. They’re just so versatile and easy to make!!!
Pro Tips…
Use good old-fashioned rolled oats (instant oats are ok, but they can become too mushy)
Add a drop of vanilla essence (yum, dessert for breakfast!)
Cow’s milk or any plant-based milk alternative works
Ingredients
- 1 sachet of Willow Green Liquid collagen
- ½ a cup of rolled oatsÂ
- ½ a cup of dairy/ nondairy milk (add more according to your preferred texture)Â
- fruit/ spices/ yogurt (or anything you like to top it off)
Method
Combine Ingredients: Place Willow Green, milk & oats in a container with a lid. (add vanilla/ honey or sweetener if you like.)Â
Mix well: Combined the liquid and oats well and seal tight.Â
Refrigerate: Place in the fridge overnight.Â
Pre-Prep: If you know you’ll be in a rush in the morning, pre-prep some fruits of your choice to top off the oats in the morning. Top Tip! Don’t add the fruits until you’re ready to eat.Â
